Who is Studio G?
Studio G is a music publisher and consultancy service company, supplying Production Music to Broadcasting/Film and Audio-Visual companies who have signed the 'MCPS Code of Conduct' or who have an existing broadcast licence. Our music can be heard on the television, at exhibitions, in multimedia productions and in corporate productions. 'Drag Racer' is a track owned by us that features as the theme tune for the BBC Snooker.
Getting hold of the right piece of music can be a real headache - even when you know what you want. With over 5000 tracks at our fingertips chances are that, if it exists, we can find it - and, if it doesn't, we can get it written for you. With more than 40 years experience of the music business under our belt, we can offer you so much more than just a well-stocked library. In fact, we can guide you from start to finish, advising on the type of music you need, providing as many samples as you want and, when you've made up your mind, ensuring you have no copyright problems. And because we've had decades to sift through mountains of material from hopeful composers and musicians, we've had plenty of time to finely tune our collection to meet your needs. We can literally offer you the "cream of the crop" when it comes to talent, so why spend hours trying to find someone we've already discovered? Whatever problems you might encounter elsewhere, we'll make sure music won't be one of them!
With thousands of original tracks in our production music library and access to the music of top-notch libraries in America and Canada, the world is your oyster when it comes to choice at Studio G. And because we have exclusive UK distribution rights to these international libraries, you won't run into any unforeseen copyright problems further down the line. Classical, pop, rock, comedy, industrial, horror, soundalikes, and even obscure recordings of Egyptian Quanouns or a Gamelan Indian orchestra you name it, and we can usually find it. Nor is variety the only advantage we can offer you. Because we have kept abreast of the latest advances in digital technology, you'll find our sound is of the highest quality.
The combination of our quality sound and professional composition probably accounts for why some of our music has been released commercially.
As your budget is being squeezed ever tighter just remember: With Studio G you only pay if, and when, you choose to use a piece of music from our Production Music Library.
And don't forget, with some TV UK broadcast productions, copyright fees are payable via blanket licence arrangements - so your budget might go even further than you thought! Sometimes what you want just doesn't exist. And that's where special compositions come into their own. From our talented stable of composers and arrangers, we can find just the right musical genius for you. From Rock to Baroque, we can arrange a composition in any style you wish, for any timing you need and at a price you can afford.
Sometimes you may need a lot of help; at others, just a pointer in the right direction. But whatever you need, you want someone who knows what they're talking about. Our Consultancy Advice Line has years of experience to back it up so we can help with almost anything, from where to start in your choice of music to finding and arranging scores for period films. Box office successes Jane Eyre and Emma are just two examples of our ability to meet the demanding needs of leading producers and directors.
